Located at 318 S Chicago St, Joliet, IL 60436, All That And A Touch of Soul operates as a restaurant serving Joliet in Illinois. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Joliet is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Joliet follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. WOW! This was my first time visiting this establishment and what a WONDERFUL experience, me and my sister (Lorna) had. The food and the desert, was spectacular π, seasoned to perfection and was worth every red cent we spent. Our host- TASHA, was beautiful, kind and very accommodating. We also, actually had the opportunity to see the chef π©βπ³, but we didn't know it was her a the time. Next time we go back, I hope to get the opportunity to shake her hand because she is ON TOP of her game. The place is getting 5 stars π π π π π π€© from me. This is 1 (one) of the best soul food restaurants in Illinois. I dare you to try it! You won't be disappointed.

Well, what else to say but absolutely phenomenal!!!!! Im just going to get into it. The best Oxtail in the Northwestern Plaines. Braised and cooked to perfection, pull off the bone, not mushy, or overcooked but a perfect solid bite, moist and flavorful. They were served over rice with sautΓ©ed bell peppers with a fantastic robust reduction. The Greens with turkey were beyond proper. A slight crisp to the bite and perfectly seasoned with meaty portions of turkey neck and not bitter at all. I added a extra side just, well because they looked to good to not have extra. The Mac and Cheese was creamy with the perfect balance of cheese and the pasta noodles cooked perfect as well. All was full of love and goodness! I've had soul food from all over the country and this is my new number #1! Staff was friendly, welcoming and the fse was a casual affair with tables and booths with a cool vibe. Plenty of parking in the next to it. Thanks for a fantastic meal to everyone at All That and a Touch of Soul! I will have to come back for the catfish or smothered chops, or both! UPDATE.... Went back the next day and sat at the counter. Ordered the fried catfish, greens and candied yams.

Extremely good. Maybe the best soul food Iβve had. The catfish was excellent, the sweet potatoes great, the collard greens were out of this world. I only regret not having room for dessert. I will be back. If you are eating in Joliet this is where to come.

Ordered the pork chops with bean greens and cornbread, and just from the first look and smell I can already tell this is going to be something special. Everything looks fresh, well-seasoned, and made with real care. The pork chops are cooked beautifully and the greens have that rich, slow-cooked flavor you expect from true soul food. The cornbread ties it all together perfectly. Places like this remind you what comfort food is supposed to taste like. You can tell thereβs heart behind the cooking here. If youβre in Joliet and want real soul food that feels homemade and satisfying, this spot is definitely worth stopping by.

Ordered the blackened catfish with grits and it was absolutely delicious! My dining partner had the smothered pork chops, and said they were outstanding. We also had the banana pudding and peach cobbler, both were very tasty. The service was great, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I definitely plan on going back to try some of their other dishes.
